Project: Brand identity [College project]

Project Read is a non-profit organisation that battles adult illiteracy throughout the state of Alabama, USA.
The design for this identity was based on the idea of 'growth' and the importance of knowing how to read. We usually take this skill for granted but reading is essencial to our development as communal beings. Project Read provides adults with an incredible opportunity to grow both intellectually and socially.
In relationship to this concept of growth, the logotype can be interpreted as tree leaves but also as the flipping pages of a book.
The chosen colors and the use of transparencies are also intended to give the image the idea of progress and movement.
